Timothy McCall is
nineteen years old and lives in Indianapolis,
Indiana with his two parents, Tim and Leigh. He is currently a
freshman at Indiana University Bloomington majoring in Spanish and
Biology. He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in
Indianapolis, Indiana in the top five percent of his class of 273.
Among Tim's lifelong accomplishments are former terms as an appointed
member of the Indianapolis Mayor's Youth Council and secretary of the We
Care Neighborhood Association. He was also his high school
marching band's drum major and field commander, and an appointee of the
National Technical Honor Society, National Honor Society, and National
Music Honor Society. He was the recipient of the James Whitcomb
Riley award for education, an achievement award based on leadership,
performance, and community services throughout his entire high school
career. He was also awarded the Indiana University Honors Program
Award of Excellence during his senior year after participating in a
Spanish immersion program where he lived and studied in Ciudad Real,
Spain, in Spanish, for seven weeks. Tim was also named one of
"Indiana's Own" by a local television station for his work on this
website, and has been interviewed numerous times by television,
newspapers, and radio.
Tim currently is attending classes at Indiana University in
Bloomington, Indiana where he is pursuing his interests in Spanish and
Biology. After college, his plans include going to medical school
to become a pediatrician, ultimately working at the world-known James
Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana.
